September 4th, 2016 - Cody Competes in Busy Labor Day Weekend
Running with the Ultimate Super Late Model Series, Cody King headed to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) on Saturday night for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. In a field of 25 cars, King timed in 23rd overall putting him on the 12th row for the feature. Passing five cars in the 40-lap main event, Cody registering a 18th place outing.

Sunday night brought King to Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the regular night of racing. Running to brake failure early into the event, King made hart contact with the turn one wall. After losing consciousness for a few minutes, Cody was taken to the hospital where he was evaluated and determined he suffered a minor concussion.

July 26th, 2016 - King Places 14th in Southern Nationals Event at Boyd's
Picking back up with the Schaeffer Oil Southern National Series, Cody King visited Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia) on Tuesday night. Drawing thirty-five entries for the $3,500 payday, King recorded a 3rd place finish in his heat setting him up with a 9th row starting spot for the feature. Passing five cars in the 35-lap A-Main, Cody logged a 14th place finish.

July 24th, 2016 - Cody King Battles in Southern Nationals at Rome
Competing in his first Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series event, Cody King headed to Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) on Sunday night for the $5,300-to-win A-Main. In a field of twenty-seven cars, King logged a 5th place finish in his heat securing a spot into the feature. Slipping outside the top ten, King posted a 14th place outing in the 53-lap affair.

July 9th, 2016 - King Returns to Senoia for Local Show
Behind the wheel of his Tricon Tool INC. #62 Super Late Model, Cody King visited Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Saturday for the regular night of racing. Competing in a field of fourteen cars, King landed a top ten finish in the feature. Looking for his first victory of the season, Cody posted a 7th place outing in the A-Main.

July 4th, 2016 - Cody Kings Competes in SAS Event at Senoia
On Friday night Cody King headed to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) for the Roscoe Smith Shootout. With twenty-nine Super Late Models signed in for the $4,444-to-win A-Main, King landed a top ten finish in the feature event. With 44-laps to gain some ground, Cody posted a 8th place finish.

The following night King visited Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the 4th of July special event. After securing the pole position starting spot in the A-Main, Cody fell one spot in the main event registering a 2nd place finish.

Closing out the holiday weekend, Cody King stopped at Tri County Racetrack (Brasstown, North Carolina) for the 6th Annual Independence Day Championship. Earning a 6th place starting position for the feature, Cody worked his way up to 2nd at one point but settled with a 3rd place finish.

June 25th, 2016 - King Places in Top Five at Senoia
Running in the local show, Cody King traveled to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Saturday night to a field of twelve Super Late Models. Parking his Cody King Motorsports #62 Super Late Model in the top five at the end of the night, King landed a 4th place finish in the feature behind Joe Armistead Jr., Clint Smith, and Tod Darda with Mason Massey coming in 5th.

May 30th, 2016 - King Competes in Memorial Weekend Action
Piloting the Dirt Car Lift #62 Super Late Model, Cody King visited Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Saturday night for the regular night of racing.  Competing in a field of thirteen cars for the feature, King brought home an 8th place finish.

Sunday night brought Cody to Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals event. With twenty-seven cars signed in, King would need an 8th place finish or better to make the $4,000-to-win show. After battling motor issues all weekend, Cody fell one position shot with a 9th place outing.

May 14th, 2016 - Cody King Visits Senoia For SAS Event
Competing with the Southern All Star Series, Cody King made the trip to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Saturday night for the Billy Clanton Classic. In a field of twenty-six cars, King came up short of a transfer position in qualifying transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the show. April 24th, 2016 - King Posts Top Ten Finish at Senoia Raceway
With the local show at Tri County Racetrack (Brasstown, North Carolina) raining out on Friday night, Cody King started his weekend on Saturday at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) for the Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals Series. April 9th, 2016 - Cody Makes First Ever Trip to Tri-County Race Track
Cody King made his first ever trip to Tri-County Race Track (Brasstown, North Carolina) on Friday night competing in the Super Late Model division. Earning a front row starting spot for the feature, King was running in second behind Kenny Collins until carburetor problems sent him back to a 8th place finish.

The following night brought Cody to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for the Spring Championship. Drawing twenty-three cars for the unsanctioned event, King earned a 9th row starting spot for the feature after posting the 18th fastest time in qualifying. March 26th, 2016 - King Reels In Two Top Ten Finishes
Powering the Tricon Tool INC. #62 Super Late Model, Cody King visited to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Friday night for the two-day Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals. Competing in a stacked field of thirty-one Super Late Models, King earned a 10th place starting position for the feature after scoring a runner-up finish in his heat behind David Breazeale. Battling for the $5,000 payday, Cody advanced two spots in the 40-lapper notching an 8th place finish.

After the rain postponed the second night of action at Senoia Raceway, King headed to North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) for the regular night of racing. Posting the 5th fastest time in a field of twenty cars, Cody landed a top ten finish in the main event. With a little time to prepare, Cody King reeled in a 8th place finish in the A-Main.

March 12th, 2016 - Cody Visits Dixie Speedway for Southeastern Classic
Saturday night brought Cody King to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) for the unsanctioned Southeastern Classic. Competing in a field of thirty-three Super Late Models, King recorded the 20th fastest time in qualifying. Notching a 3rd place finish in his heat, King was slated to start 19th for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. With 50 laps to gain some ground, Cody King improved eleven positons scoring an 8th place finish.

March 5th, 2016 - Cody King Notches in Podium Finish at Senoia
Cody King made the trip to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Saturday night for the season opener. Drawing eighteen Super Late Models for the unsanctioned program, King notched podium finish in the A-Main which featured a new track surface that was installed two weeks prior to the main event. Starting on the front row of the feature, Cody jumped into the lead on the very first lap. Giving up the lead on the very last lap, Cody King scored a 3rd place finish behind Austin Horton and Clint Smith with Mason Massey and Tyler Millwood rounding out the top five.

February 28th, 2016 - King Travels to Cochran for SAS Series Opener
After breaking the track record during a practice session the previous weekend, Cody King returned to Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) on Saturday night for the Southern All Star Series opener. With twenty-seven Super Late Models signed in, King scored a top ten finish in the 50-lap A-Main. With $5,000 on the line in the main event, Cody King recorded a 7th place finish.

On Sunday with twenty-one entries registered in for the second night of the Twin 50’s A-Main, King posted the 3rd fastest time in his group earning him a 6th place starting spot for the main event. Battling for another $5,000 payday, Cody retired a 20th place outing.

January 10th, 2016 - Cody King Begins 2016 Season at Ice Bowl XXV
Kicking off the 2016 season, Cody King made the trip to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) on Thursday night for the three-day Ice Bowl XXV. Drawing forty-nine Super Late Models for the unsanctioned event, King fell one spot short of a transfer position with a 4th place heat finish. Starting on the front row for his consolation event, Cody scored a 3rd place finish giving him a 11th row starting spot for the feature. With $6,000 on the line, Cody  King gained six spots in the 50-lapper recording a 16th place finish.

December 10th, 2015 - King Finishes 2015 Season With 9 Top 10 Outings
Making his way to a total of fifteen events, Cody King recorded nine top ten finishes on the season. With one event getting cancelled due to rain, King also notched two top five finishes.

November 19th, 2015 - Cody King Visits North Georgia Speedway
Cody King made the trip to North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) on Thursday night for the unsanctioned Turkey Rumble. With twenty-one Super Late Models signed in, King recorded the 4th fastest qualifying time. Battling for a $3,000 payday, Cody retired a 10th place finish in the A-Main.

October 24th, 2015 - King Lands Top Ten Finish on Saturday
On Friday night Cody King traveled to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) for the two-day show. Drawing thirty-eight entries on Friday for the unsanctioned event, King needed a top five qualifying time in his group to make the show. After failing to make the show from time trials, Cody failed to his a transfer spot in his consolation event bringing an early end to his night.

The following night with thirty-nine Super Late Models signed in for the Southern All Stars Series finale, King transferred into the A-Main via preliminary action. Battling for the $4,000 payday, Cody scored a 10th place spot in the 40-lap affair.

October 17th, 2015 - Cody King Returns to Action at EAMS
Cody King headed to Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Georgia) on Friday night for the pair of events sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series. In a field of twenty-four entries for the opening night $3,000-to-win A-Main, King had issues in the A-Main pulling off early to save his equipment for the following night.

On Saturday night with twenty-six Super Late Models signed in, Cody scored a 4th place spot in his heat transferring him into the main event. With $4,000 on the line, King worked his way up to a solid 9th place outing.

September 27th, 2015 - Cody King Returns to Action at EAMS
On Saturday night Cody King returned to action behind his brand new Tricon Tool INC. #62 Longhorn Super Late Model at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Alabama) for the double-header event sanctioned by the Southern All Stars Series. With 35 cars signed in, King earned a mid-pack starting spot for the feature based off of his qualifying time. Battling for a $4,000 payday, Cody recorded a 16th place finish.

The next night King found better results in the A-Main paying another $4,000 to the winner. Competing for the Alabama State Championships, Cody landed a top ten finish in the A-Main. With 40-laps on the board, Cody King registered an 8th place finish.
